Women’s Ice Hockey Gold Medal Match – The game favored to the Canadians. Canada won the game 2-0 against team USA.

Winter Olympics main event today featured the gold medal match of women’s ice hockey between the USA and Canada. The Canada Hockey Place filled with excitement as the fans and supporters from both teams give their loudest cheers for their team.

Canada’s Marie-Philip Poulin-Nadeau scores 2 points for the Canada in the first period assist courtesy of Jennifer Botterill at 13:5 and Meghan Agosta at 16:50. Shannon Szabados made 29 saves.

Meanwhile, Finland won the bronze medal against Sweden on a 3-2 game.

The way that the IHOP free Pancake Day 2010 is going to work, is that all participating IHOP locations will be giving out a free short stack of pancakes. Every guest that comes to one of these IHOP locations will get a free short stack, with no strings attached to the dining experience.

What IHOP is hoping though, is that customers coming into their restaurants will be willing to donate a few dollars in exchange for these free pancakes. The money will be going to help support local children’s hospitals through the Children’s Miracle Network, all with the hope of improving local communities. According to IHOP’s website, since beginning its National Pancake Day celebration in 2006, IHOP has raised more than $3.25 million to support charities in the communities in which it operates. While IHOP’s National Pancake Day typically takes place on Shrove Tuesday, this year the company will host its free pancake event on Tuesday, February 23, extending the fundraising window by one week to maximize donations for Children’s Miracle Network. Another report has said that JR Celski cut his leg to the bones during an Olympic trial that he had to undergo a surgery at a local hospital. Although at a bad state, JR Celski still believes that he can still compete at the games.

He was disqualified today on the winter olympics for physical and contentious race today. We are still not sure if he still have some next games today at the 2010 winter Olympics or he is completely disqualified from the whole of the Olympics. That we will find out soon.
