Sarah Geronimo as Shan Cai in Meteor Garden Remake
Unlike Takipsilim, ABS-CBN bags the right for the remake of Meteor Garden this 2009. Sarah Geronimo is Shan Cai in ABS-CBN’s Meteor Garden Remake (Bulalakaw sa Hardin).
It’s hard to decide who will be perfect for the portrayal of Flower Four or F4. Dao Ming Si, a hard headed but sweet lover of Shan Cai. Hua Ze Lei, quite type and learns to love Shan Cai. Xi Men a womanizer. Mei Zuo Ling a womanizer and feeling cool.
John Lloyd as Dao Ming Si? Can you imagine John Lloyd with long hair with pine apple hairdo?

To me who is a long time F4 fan, a probable DMZ is Jake Cuenca or Jericho Rosales. John Lloyd to me can play Hua Ze Lei. Sam Milby may be Ximen. I can’t imagine who Mei Tzuo can be. Mas maganda pareho ang height ng 4. I hope ABS researches on the Japan and Korean version of MG so they can date the program to current times.

Bagay nga kay Sarah yung Shan Cai. Siya na ata pinaka suitable. And I think mabibigyan niya ng justice. Pero time na siguro ni Sarah na mabigyan siya ng original script.
Yung F4? ang hirap. ala ako maisip na artista sa Pinas na makakapagbigay ng justice sa roles ng F4.

ikahihiya ko ang pagiging Pilipino kapag gagawa sila ng remake. Fvck this. napupuno ako na di ko na maexplain. fvck fvck fvck. may Chinese version na nga tapos tayo pa. Di naman natin mapapantayan ang ibang versions noh. I mean i love the Philippines pero i am very aware of the fact that we make bad dramas.
PERO kung gagawa man sila (sana wag!!!!), magcast na lang sila ng bagong mga artista. wag si sarah geronimo. mas lalo nang wag yung mga batang cast. kahit naman kasi di sikat yung mga artista, pwede pa rin nilang gamitin ang name (Meteor Garden) para mapromote to. dapat gwapo ang mga artista. as in HOT.

i’m a big fan of boys over flowers so i was looking forward na maging maganda ang outcome ng bulalakaw sa hardin but i was worrying na baka ma- overdo yung story baka masyadong maging melodramatic yung remake, yun po kasi ang medyo di ko gusto sa ibang light- heavy drama minsan po hindi namemaintain yung light parts sa bandang dulo puro drama na lang tuloy nawawala na yung kilig. sana po talaga maging kahawig sya nung bof perohindi ko po sinasabi na lahat na gayahin pero ang hirap po kasi sa mga remake masyado nilang nilalagyan ng pinoy touch kaya nababago yung story sana po you could try to adopt and medyo stick po dun sa orig para hindi po nakakalito chaka rin kasi po kung masyadong ginagawang pinoy minsan kasi nasosobrahan ng drama sa buhay yun lang po ang sa akin maganda po kasi at nakakatouch yung orig story

I think ABS-CBN chose the right person for the role of JanDi
BeCause:
1).Sarah G. fits for the role because of the fact that she is a pure filipina and she looks purely as a Filipina,if ABS-CBN chose kim chiu i’d think she wouldn’t fit for being the GJD for the Philippines because she won’t look like a Filipina,She would look like a chinese cu- tie playing as the GJD for the Chinese Ver.
2).Sarah G.acts well in comedy,kim chiu acts better in dramas for maja,I don’t think she’ll fit the role of GJD ‘coz i think she is also better in dramas and also both maja and kim re- cently have big proj. in televisions Impostora for Maja and Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo for kim.I I think Sarah G. deserves one too,Enough for Kim and Maja
3).I’m A BIG BIG BIG fan of hers
because she is very talented and she never gets boastful not like
CHARICEwho is feeling like she’s the brightest international singing sensation of the Philippines But Surely Sarah G. is more of her in many ways…(my opinion)

First, I don’t want the title to be just translated from the original. In taiwan, it’s meteor garden, in korea, it’s boys over flowers. somehow, they should make another title that would be significant to the story as well…the necklace or ring… they should make a different plot but not too different from the original story. in taiwanese version, the story of DMS causing his amnesia was different from the korean version, though it was based on the original manga series, it should be like that. It’s how they interpret and create unique story without going out of the original script. if i could just make a script for them, i would..hehe! but im not a good writer. anyway, i hope they get what i meant. but for sure, here’s my list for the ideal roles as F4:
DMS/GJP = Xian Lim
HZL/YJH = Chase Rivera
XM / YJ = Coco Martin
MZ / WB = Japoy Lizardo
