Longest Solar Eclipse Today – January 15, 2010
Solar eclipse occurs when the moon passes between the Earth and the Sun resulting to a partial or total blocking of light of the Sun making the moon shadows to appear.
Today, the longest annular solor eclipse will occur. It considers as the longest on this millenium with length of occurance up to 11 minutes at 7.8 seconds. The recorded longest solar eclipse happnened in year 1992 held in middle of Pacific Ocean.
Partial Solar Eclipse will be visible in Africa, Eastern Europe, Middle Eas and some parts of Asia.
The Solar Eclipse this January 15, 2010 will start at 10:44 AM IST (5:14 AM GMT) and will end at 2:29 PM IST (8:59 GMT).
Solar Eclipse photos and videos will be available soon after the viewing has been held.
Most people in India seen this phenomena and they’ve got one of the best place to see the sky’s show. Also in Middle East and African coutries. And in Kenya which they experience a morning with a magic in their sky.
