Twilight Pinoy Version Remake “Takipsilim”: a Hoax
Twilight fans hate the fact that ABS-CBN will shoot the remake of Twilight (a famous vampire novel of Stephanie Meyer) this February by officially posting a news at their official website. The said article said that Rayver Cruz and Shaina Magdayao will portray as the main characters Edward Cullen and Bella Swan in tentatively title “Takipsilim” to be directed by Cathy Garcia Molina. Yehey also loves the news and even posted the article in their entertainment page in a detailed manner including the other casts.
Avid Twilight fans even created an online petition to blatantly stop the ABS-CBN madness against the remake of Twilight. Some people claim that Twilight remake is only a hoax that ABS-CBN only wants to gain traffic to their official website or they have other reason behind this.
From reading the article, conclusions are made up that Twilight remake is really a hoax. In the ABS-CBN article it was said that they (ABS-CBN) paid $1 million with co-producer Ignite Media for the rights to the Twilight series. What is Ignite Media? Rights to the Twilight series?
Next are the shooting locations. It was said that the taping will start on February next year and the shooting locations are Bukidnon, Tagaytay, Baguio, some will be in other locations abroad. So Tagaytay is Forks, Baguio is Seattle and Bukidnon is La Push? Those three locations are too far for Bella to ride her truck. Take note that Bukidnon is in Mindanao. And why would they shoot outside country?
Finally, the fake poster. If casting are done, they should have photo shoots or scratch trailer like Twilight movie did.
Seems that Rayver and Shaina die hard fan created this poster. And we would love to see if Pokwang and Bayani will star in Takipsilim. ABS-CBN will sure gain a big hit in Prime Bida airing this serious teleserye of Bayani and Pokwang, Takipsilim and Bagong Buwan as their sequel.

ABS-CBN is successful in fooling Twilight fans. Isang malaking kalokohan ang pinoy remake. At lalong malaking kalokohan kung si Shaina at rayver yan. Haller!!!?

i think they are just testing the waters here…they found out that after releasing the statements,there are many negative feedbacks from all over the networking sites from multiply to friendster to facebook who happens to have twilight groups there.now that reactions and comments are laid abs-cbn is having doubts in continuing the project as well.madami tayo pinoy authors na meron magagandang storya sa libro nila sila dapat yun bigyan ng break ng mga networks natin like the ones being done by gma they are making carlo caparas’s komik stories into tv series in kapuso station…abs cbn should think of another strategy if they want higher ratings and more fans on their network…

Why do you need to remake foreign movies? Instead of remaking foreign movies/shows, concentrate in making Filipino-made TV shows. That would be better besides instead of helping the movie industry and the image of the Filipinos, you guys making it worse by adapting and copying obras from other countries..

well i’m GLAD to know this is a HOAX. i was one of those fans that were OUTRAGED by the said remake. maybe they really were just trying to see what the ppl’s reaction would be. or the pathetic (sorry about the harsh words) attempt to gain more visits in their site; they could’ve used another non-enraging way to get ppl to view their website.duh?well i’m just plain GLAD that all of this is getting cleared up. hopefully.

Huwag kayo masyado mag-react ok here’s my opinion: i was so impressed sa movie na twilight so after watching it i bought books one to three only to be disappointed. You see the book 1 pa lang ay marami ng na-edit at na-revise sa movie like the one kung saan bella cofronted edward regarding his true identity. sa book it happened inside the car after edward saved bella from the 4 gangsters but in the movie it happened sa forest. I really don’t understand why pumayag yung author to totally revise some scenes in the book. Unlike harry potter i would say that Meyer’s book has no continuity, maraming flaws na makikita kung ikaw ay talagang magbabasa. Sa book 3 bella is more afraid to get married after graduation (coz she’s not the type daw na girls of her age to marry after graduation – no way daw) than to become a vampire – which is more frightening – gettng married at a very young age or becoming a vampire-monster? and bella’s one reason for wanting to become a vampire is she’s afraid she’ll get older and look older than edward – how ridiculous! another one – from books 2 & 3 ( i haven’t got book 4 – i’m still thinking if i will buy it considering my observations) i would say bella swan is our typical “KSP” KULANG SA PANSIN. don’t you see how she dominates edward and jacob er actually all the people around her? a bratty character i should say. In book 4 i was told na bella bears a child – how’s that? why (pardon the word) may sperm ba ang vampires? unlike harry potter everything was possible coz its a magical world, pero dito sa books ni Meyer parang di makatotohanan. I my opinon Meyer’s books 2 to 4 ay “windang” as if new characters, new situations were introduced just to to prolong the story. I should say that soe of my officemates shares my views rearding bella’s character which ng lumaon ay nakakairita na. And lastly, i should say nobody beats j. k. rawling’s harry potter. and to LIEN regarding TARANTADO RAW MGA TAGA ABS. CBN… don’t be so rude nahahalata tuloy na wala kang “BREEDING”

Kristen Stewart is the perfect Bella .. All around the casting was perfect, everyone had so much so much angst that they fit the story perfectly

Twlight is really a great movie and i watched it several times. I love Kristen Stewart and also the rest of the cast of Twilight, they are really superb.
