Google Doodle’s Apple Drop Today

January 4th, 2010 | 2 Comments | Posted in Internet

Today, January 4, 2010, I logged in to Google’s search engine to search for some work related research. I was really surprised when I saw today’s Google Doodle. It’s about an apple from a tree that suddenly dropped and fell. It was the first animated Google Doodle I’ve ever seen.

What does it says? First, I’ve thought about Google’s rival Apple. Maybe Google is doing some serious moves to battle Apple. However, after some searching, it was because of Isaac Newton’s Birthday!

Who is Isaac Newton? Isaac Newton is the scientist who discovered the gravitational theory. Isaac Newton formed the said theory when he first saw an apple dropped and fell from a tree. After that, he then concluded that gravity, which is the downward pull of the earth, exist!

Anyway, happy birthday Isaac Newton and let’s thank Google for remembering one of our greatest scientists.
