Different people from various parts of the world have their own way of celebrating New Year by having a New Year’s Eve countdown. It starts with 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, …2, 1 and a big blast of Happy New Year! Happy New Year 2010!

For people in the US, the major venue for the New Year’s Eve countdown for 2010 is Time Square in New York. Americans flock Time Square to celebrate the New Year’s Even countdown. They prepared a lot of beautiful fireworks display and a lot of entertainment bands and singers!

For people in Germany, the major venue for the New Year’s Eve countdown for 2010 is Berlin Germany. There will be several stages, dance floors, and tents with live music, performances, and international DJs. There will also be laser and light shows.

For people in Australia, Sydney is probably one of the places where there would be earliest New Year so they are expected to be the earliest one to finish the New Year’s Even Countdown for 2010.
